exhaust manifold flow and heat transfer simulation

i'm trying to find flow and heat transfer analysis on turbocharger.
medium of fluid is exhaust gas from diesel engine.
how to find or calculate the property of exhaust gas?
i've seen in some journal that they did analysis based on air's property. why they take air's property?

Hi buddy,

You've posted this to the CFX, FLUENT and CD-Adapco forums. Don't expect to find anything, since "Thermal Fatigue Life Prediction" is something more closely related do FEA simulations.

Have you searched the appropriate journals before coming here?
