Dear friends,
I have a very robust design of a contra-rotating fan, now I need to validate this design and find the problems. However, after i generated the mesh in turbogrid and set up all the parameters in pre-CFX, I always got the problem "floating point exception: overflow". I did a lot of changes, such as improving the mesh, adding the good initial conditions, decreasing the timestep and changing the turbulence model to SST. However, I still can not get proper convergent results. Can anybody help me to check the case? Here I can not attach the .def and .cfx files since it is too large. If there is sombody who can help me, I will send you those files by email. Thanks very much! |

Do not post the def or cfx files, they are too large and nobody has time to look at them anyway.
Please post an image of what you are modelling, and image which shows the mesh in key parts of the simulation, and attach your CCL (not the whole output file). |
