hi
i want to simulate a propeller of immerse body in 3D state.(SST of turbulent model) I have a question, at this case , what is range of Y+ in near wall thanks for your guidance..... |

Why do you want to simulate a propeller with immersed solids? Rotating frames of reference will be more accurate and easier.
What y+ to aim for? There is no general answer to that. Do a sensitivity study on mesh density and find out for your application what mesh resolution you require. Some simulations require more than others. |

I did this mesh method ( two domain with rotating frame) but i want to understand range of wall function in near of wall propeller that accuracy of results is appropriate and accurate. |

My second comment in the previous post addresses your question.
Also read the meshing comments in the CFX documentation, they have some useful things to say. |

Another thing you should ask yourself is: does asking about what y+ to use with an immersed solid even make sense?
There really isnt a "Wall Boundary" when you use an immersed solid. It is faked in. |
