Heat Transfer Alaysis

Dear Friends,
I am working on heat transfer analysis of an heat exchanger. I tried it for the first time and am not sure of the result which I obtained. Needed some guidance from u friends. I don't know what went wrong while deriving conditions. Details: * FinTube Heat Exchanger (without fins) * Fluid is Oil in pipe, inlet temperature is 215 F * Gas flows over the pipe from bottom to top whose inlet temperature is 922.5 F *In my result I don't find any variation in temperature at both the outlets. Note : I have attached the image files of my problem Thanks in Advance |
What sort of variation are you expecting to see? Your images seem to show all fluids equalising out at about 767K - is there something wrong with this?

Thank You For the concern Sir, I need to find the temperature variation at the outlet of the pipe,In my result the temperature is same as gas temperature, is that right? I feel it dont |
This can happen depending on the heat exchanger operating point. I say again - what do you expect to happen? Are you trying to match experimental results?

yes we trying to compare it with experimental results |
