What is the effect of rotational periodicity in the transient analysis?? I tried with opening for the rotational periodicity mentioned area for first (my simulation didn't run got error saying divide by zero.. )
later i gave the region as rotational periodicity then every time i run the simulation there is a message called "CCl2flow.exe has stopped working"

Rotational periodicity is a mathematical link between faces on a domain which mimic rotational periodicity. It is a little hard to explain - If you do the CFX tutorials it might make more sense.

Also the FAQ may help: http://www.cfd-online.com/Wiki/Ansys...do_about_it.3F

No idea. That is the gizmo which reads the CCL so it looks like something is invalid in your CCL.

I tried to run other simulations they are okay. but when i particularly run this one the ccl2flow stops working.

As I said, the error suggests your CCL is invalid, or it is not linked to your mesh correctly. I would regenerate that def file in CFX-Pre.
