Particle tracking

i am doing a problem in air escaping through a degassing vent from a water-air mixed flow. i need to track the air bubble to find out its way of travel from the inlet to the exit. i need to track the air particle. whether there is any method of tracking the air particles other than particle tracking? i searched on the cfx tutorials but i am not getting an idea on particle tracking. whether i need to write a additional subroutine for particle tracking or i can do it on the per-processor? please help me through your valuable suggestions. can anybody give me some idea on how particle tracking in doing in cfx? some basic thing on particle tracking.

If you need to track an individual bubble then you need the lagragian/particle tracking approach.

You can approximate it by doing streamlines in the bubble phase (if it is steady state), or releasing an additional variable at the point of interest which convects with the flow.
