hi friends,
i have simulated the stirred tank using MRF but i am not able to extract some quantitative data from my simulations. i want to plot a curve between mean velocities(dimensionless) and radial distance as we move from bottom of the tank to top.I am using chart function in cfd-post but i am not very much clear. plz help |

I do not understand what you want to plot. The mean velocity - averaged over what?

You can set up planes at the different heights, work out the averaged velocity on them and plot them. The method is a bit nasty as you have the generate lots of planes, but I cannot think of a way of doing this nicely.
