Has anyone used the BSL EARSM turbulence model with success in flows which involve adverse pressure gradients? It seems like a fantastic well rounded turbulence model.

I'm particularly interested in how it compares with the K-Omega SST model, Omega based RSM, and experimental data/or DNS data.

Can anyone provide any insights? I have particular interests in using this model for buoyancy driven flows induced by a temperature difference. Imagine a vessel, with a hot bottom surface, and a cold top surface. Velocity is driven by the density difference.

Are there any papers, key works I should be aware of?

Thank you.

Some more references dealing explicitly with EARSM in APG BLs. It is indeed a good model I use it on a daily basis for rapidly rotating flows.

Have you done a comparison against SST? I know SST fails to sometimes predict secondary flows.

Hello everyone,

This is the first time that I deal with BSL EARSM model. My solution is not converged, actually it seems to convergence but the solution did not stop. Normallz asa far I understood ıt should take like k-epsion CPU time.

I am using physical time scale and have changed between 0.05-200 but did not work. Solution is fluctuating around my defined rsm (10e-6) value

Can anybody help me? Thanks!
