How do I add a Refrigerant (fluid) in cfx-pre which I want to use it for my simulation with material properties like vapor density, Enthalpy, vapor Cv, vapor Cv, Heat of vapor, Molar mass, thermal conductivity, viscosity which are temperature dependent and who's values varies with temperature.
I tried adding through insert material in cfx but in that you can only add constant value for all the property, I want to add a tabular data, also there is some NASA format as well as TASCflor RGP format which allow us to add material property differently but I don't how to use that formats.

Or can I add my material in Workbench in Engineering data and use it in cfx?

Or can I add .ccl file containing my material to the material library and import through that?

All the parameters you mentioned can be made expressions or interpolation functions. Some can also be RGP format and a few others as well. Do the CFX tutorials as some of them show how to set customised material properties.

Thanks for the reply.
I can write expression for the properties for a constant value but how can I make them vary with temperature, as my simulation progresses there will be change in temperature according to which fluid properties will also change.

Also can you give me more knowledge on RGP and NASA format on how to get there different coefficient values.

You just write expressions or an interpolation function which is a function of temperature (T). It is very easy.

The RGP and NASA formats are described in the documentation.

I am referring to the ANSYS CFX tutorials, which should be installed along with the CFX-Pre documentation.
