symmetry for simulation of a wedge
I am trying to model a wedge. I use symmetry for front and back of my model but when I want to use symmetry for the right part of my model I cant do It.
in fact I model the wedge in half and use symmetry for the half but in this situation my model doesnt move.
thanks for your help.

What are you simulating with the wedge? What do you mean it doesn't move? You will have to be more clear.

hi evcelica
I want to investigate on interaction between fluid and structure. I uploaded my files and put their links here. something is wrong but I can't find it.

I am trying to define some monitor points on one of the side of the wedge to record pressure.

first I assume my body is rigid and I did it. its link is here(movie). for doing this first I need to define my points exactly on my rigid body(?) and then the points should move with my rigid body(?).

another time I tried to do the simulation with the assumption that my body can has deformation( Hydroelastic). but this time the problem is bigger and as I said something is wrong and I can't find it. I put it's files here(the rar file).

totally :

1 - how can I define some monitor points exactly on my rigid body?

2 - how can I set the points to move with my rigid body? (some monitor points that move with rigid body)

3 - please see my rar file(FSI) and say its problem to me. the file is for a hydroelastic simulation.

You can try to create a new coordinate frames related to the rigid body then define the monitor points in this new coordinate frames.

Hi Abou ali

1 - when I want to define a monitor point there is an option (position update frequency) and I can set it on Every time step or Initial Mesh Only.
what's the option for?

2 - If I create a new coordinate frames related to the rigid body and set my monitor points based on the new coordinate frame then will my monitor points move with my rigid body?
