how to play session file????
 

:confused: hi dear all
Where should I go to run the session file?
Based tutorial software, launch cfx> select session> play tutorial but i select session , only have new session and play tutorial not available
Please advise me

You havent saved your session file? Did you even generate one?

hi, i want play session file in tutorial cfx, but basing tutorial cfx, The procedure file has been written :
1. If required, launch ANSYS CFX-Pre.
2. Select Session > Play Tutorial.
3. Select StaticMixer.pre.
4. Click Open.
A definition file is written.
5. Select File > Quit.
6. Launch the ANSYS CFX-Solver Manager from CFX Launcher.
7. After the ANSYS CFX-Solver starts, select File > Define Run.
8. Under Definition File, click Browse .
9. Select StaticMixer.def, located in the working directory.
10. Proceed to Obtaining a Solution Using ANSYS CFX-Solver Manager
but Not applicable for me, please help me, how to play session file?

Because this thread does not have the right answer and I was looking for the "play session" button, too, i would like to answer it for future questions.

To play the tutorials/sessions it is necessary to open CFX Pre NOT over Workbench. Just search in your menu CFX and choose there CFX Pre.
At the menu tab "Session" - > "Play Session" you can choose your .pre file!
Then save it as .cfx. Afterwards you can select the Case in CFX through Workbench and start the simulation!
