Dear all,

I am running simulations of a wind turbine: I have the turbine in the centre of a spherical domain with diameter 7 times the turbine rotor diamater.
I specify inlet and outlet boudaries at the two hemispheres, with a sheared velocity profile at the inlet.

When I run the simulations I get the error that there is reversed flow at the outlet where walls are placed and CFX suggests to switch to a opening boundaries; however the solution is converging.

I was wondering is there is a way to identify where the walls have been placed by CFX to see if this is affecting the flowfield. Would the opening boundary be a better option?

Thank you very much!

Load the results file in CFD-Post and see what regions of the outlet have zero velocity.
