Computing time with CFX

Hi there,

I have a small general question. I want to simulate a 2D extruded wing with some additional source term in the momentum equation.

If my mesh contains around 10 million nodes; and I have an i7 Intel; I'm planning to run the simulations in parallel with 4 processors; does anyone have an approximate idea (in general) on the computing time that the simulation will require ?
I mean, are we talking here in 4-5 days or more time simulation ?

Thank you very much,

Jun

It is not possible to estimate as it depends on many factors. The Re number, what results you are trying to get, how accurate you want to be, any difficult physics present and so on.
