Hello everybody,
I have two problems with analysing my modell in CFX- Post. 1. I'd like to generate a Cp plot of an impeller blade of a radial compressor. On the x- axis should be streamwise the direction from the leading edge to the trailing edge. In the "Macro Calculator" I can only choose the direktion of a slice, but in cause of geometry of the blade, the slice doesn't fit between the leading edge and the trailing edge. Does anyone has an idea? 2. I would also like to visualize or measure the friction coefficient on the blade surface. Calculation the wall shear stress is only possible in x,y,z- direction, but I need the normal- direction to the blade surface. Is there an option to choose this direction? Thank your for your help. |

1. I do not understand this question. I do not know much about turbomachinery either so probably cannot help you.
2. The "Normal Area" variable should do it. Look in the reference manual for a full list of available variables. |
