Hi All,

I am trying to model a car park that is full of cars, I don't know what to assume for each car in terms of CO emissions and average vehicle temperature? any ideas linked with sources?

This is not a CFD/CFX question, this is a general question - try google.

I understand but I am using CFX for that purpose and need some assistance from people who did such modeling before

The implementation in CFX is simple - CO can be modelled as either a convected additional variable or as a multicomponent mixture. Each car will be a source term and the stuff can enter at any temperature you specify.

Thank you for the reply. I have an idea of how to model both, my problem is in terms of which values I should use and if there are standards for cars inside car parking in terms of how much CO ( flow rate ) they produce and average vehicle temperature to assign. If people know that I would appreciate if they can guide me or provide me with resources.

Regards

Glenn told you. That is not a CFX question, it is a more general question. He suggested Google in order to open up the number of potential "experts" you can access.

A good starting point is looking at contamination control and ventilation in hospitals. Pathogen control team in Leeds have modelled stuff like air flows in confined spaces. Is your car park a confined space ?
