Mesh Stiffness Problem

I have defined a rigid body having XY degrees of freedom for the inner cylinder in the figure. Mesh stiffness is adjusted as "increase near boundaries". But this is what happens after a few oscillations :confused:. How can I solve this problem?

I also tried 10[m^2/s]/orthfact^10 for the mesh stiffness so the stiffness would increase as the elements deform. But the result was the same.

Have you tried not specifying a mesh stiffness? The default settings will probably work for this simple case.
