multiphase flow in cfx

hello every one
i am beginner in cfx, and i wanna find out how i can create slug flow with cfx.
do any one help me that the velocity definition in cfx is real velocity or superficial velocity?
do any one help me that the courant number in multiphase flow must be less than one?
thanks.

How are you modelling the slug flow? Are you modelling the slugs directly using a free surface model or are you using a eularian multiphase model?

CFX is an implicit solver so does not have a Courant number restriction. The best way to choose an appropriate time step is by a time step sensitivity study, or use adaptive time stepping for 3-5 (or maybe 5-10 for multiphase) coeff loops per iteration.

Thank you.
I'm working on Eulerian multiphase flow.I still have the question for real or superficial velocity? Do you have any tutorial about creating slug flow in CFX?
Regards.

CFX comes with a number of tutorials, there are lots more on the ANSYS community website and your ANSYS support rep will have even more available.
