Montecarlo CFX: Coarsening ratio VS Number of Histories
Hi all,
I have a question, just a curiosity of mine. In your opinion is it quicker ( in terms of CPU time ) to have a lot of histories keeping the coarsening ratio high (std is 64) or to have lower coarseing ratio ( let's say under 8 for example ) and a lower number of histories? I think the real question could be : is the number of histories associated to the number of radiating element or to the domain? Thanks for your opinions |
