Impulse pressure

Hi everyone,
I have to start off with my master thesis. I have to study a injection pipe with a known nominal pressure which is exposed to impulse of pressure. How can I set these impulse in Pre-Window of CFX? Thank you for your responce |

Define an initial condition in the domain of the starting pressure. At a pressure inlet apply a different pressure. Make the fluid compressible (eg ideal gas), the time step small enough to catch what is happening and let it go. You should get shock waves bouncing all over the place.
