hi
At first I apologize for my bad english!!!!
I want to simulate a free surface flow in cfx, like a 2D body float on water
I modeled a piston wave maker.
my two phase flow : water and air
in setup :
surface tension model
1- none
2- continuous surface force "I chose it"

interphase transfer
1- none
2- mixture model
3-free surface "I chose it"
is it true!??is there any important problem!?

and second question! in solver!!
I attach the picture to explain my problem!!??
"solver-pcmpi.exe has stopped working"
why!?
in both parallel and series run!!

if you have any file plz send me
plz help me
thanks

The CFX tutorial example "Flow over a bump" shows how to set up a free surface simulation. I recommend you have a look at it, it will answer all your questions you have written here.
