Dear freind
I make a simulation of a centrifugal pump with Ansys Cfx. I need how to plot the characteristic curve H (Q) in CFD Post to compare with that of experimental. give me an example of CFD Post and steps needed to do. please help me |

Have a look at the CFX tutorials and the best practices guide for turbomachinery.

I read but there is no well-defined examples tracing the curve characteristics of a centrifugal pump H (Q).
I need a how to plot this curve and the steps necessary example. Please contact me on email |

Hello friends
I did the simulation of a centrifugal pump with CFX. pump consists of a pipe in, a wheel and the volute as shown this figure. |

the boundary conditions are:
Flow simulation domain ; Impeller and volute Grid ; Impeller structured, volute unstructured Fluid ; Water at standard conditions Inlet ; Total pressure = 1 atm Outlet ; Mass flow = q (kg/s) Turbulence model ; k-ε and SST Interface1 pipe-impeller ; Frozen rotor Interface2 impeller-volute ; Frozen rotor Convection scheme ; second order RMS (root mean square) ; 4-Oct current simulation an error message appear. in this figure can help me to correct this error |

Is your axis of rotating according to the right hand rule?
I would suggest to move your inlet a little bit further away from the rotating part |
