clau90 is on a distinguished road
Hi,

I am trying to simulate a reactive flow in a porous medium with varying porosity. My .def file was initially working, but I found that I had to use an opening boundary condition instead of outlet and a smaller time step to improve convergence. However, as soon as I change one of these things, I get the following error:

I can't find anywhere what this error means. I tried to adjust the memory allocation, but with no improvements. Can anyone help me?

Thanks,

Claudia

CFX does have some very cryptic error messages.

I recommend you try this simulation serial. If that works you have a parallel problem. If that does not work you have a problem in your simulation setup. You say you changed the boundary condition type - that sounds like a good place to look for the error.
