How to calculate the axial velocity dispersion in CFD-Post?

Hello everyone
Can anybody tell me how to calculate the axial velocity dispersion in cfd (computational fluid dynamic) post? CFD calculator calculates the average and volume average of the velocity. To calculate the total velocity dispersion in the BC (bubble column), I multiplied the average to the volume, but the value was too small and didn’t match the empirical data, then I calculated the Volint in the post calculator, but still too small. Please advise.
Cheers

What is axial velocity dispersion? What is the empirical data you are trying to match?

Hi Glen

Basically, I want to calculate the axial liquid velocity along the pipe column using CFX result files.

Thanks

Put a line object along the pipe, then you can chart velocity along this line or export it or do anything else with it.

Thanks it worked perfectly.
