How to project torque on blade surface in CFD Post?
Hi everyone!
I designed a rotor blades of horizontal axis wind turbine. The purpose of simulations, was to find out that the torque along blade surface is equal on every radius section. Could someone knows how to display torque on blade surface in CFD Post? |
you can write this expression : torque_y()@blade ,if the torque you want to know is on y axis.

I knew about what you said, but I mean how to display torque distribution along the blade surface

Hi,
with some isoclip (on blade from spanwise 0 to spanwise 0.2) you can define some domain on your blade (in example 5 domain between 0-20%/20-40%/...) then you can calculate and plot the torque on your isoclip. |
Okey, thank you very much for advice. It was helpfull to me. But do you know how to display torque on blade like forcy x on blade surface?
|
this is quite basic tutorial in CFD-Post
just create your variable torque()@span0-20 (your isoclip) as an expression and create a variable which refers to it... then you can plot it |
