# Deep Water Wave Generation Problem

 March 10, 2015, 18:43 Deep Water Wave Generation Problem #1 New Member   Cold_Fire Join Date: Mar 2015 Posts: 10 Rep Power: 10 I'm going to simulate & compare two waveMaker (Piston vs Flap Wavemaker) and My first requirement is " Piston Wavemaker CEL expressions " I'm attempting to generate a simple linear wave in a 2D tank of length 20m and depth 5.1m. My mean water depth is 4m and my max wall displacement is 0.7m . (I've attached drawing of my setup) The wave frequency is 0.5 Hz and the wave length is 3m. I am new to this type of work and am a little Concerned about using Best CEL expressions Does anyone have an example of this *.CCL File ? I can not find “A series of expressions” for this work (Piston Wavemaker) !!! Thanking you in advance drawing of my setup ==>
