hi, I have to extract pressure at some points in my calculation. For that I need to import the information of those points in cfx post as an external csv file (see the picture). how is that possible? If I use point cloud I can not extract the data from those points separately?
thanks |

If there is only a few points then just set up monitor points manually.
If there is lots of points then write a program (I would use python) which reads in the CSV file and generates CCL text for a monitor point at each location. Then import that CCL into CFX-Pre. Note that this method will not handle large numbers of points, I estimate about 100-500 points is the most you could do. This is because the CCL interpreter has problems when the CCL gets really big. If you want to extract thousands of points you could write a user fortran routine. And you can also do it in post processing by generating a point cloud and using the point cloud as an object to export data from.
