SST models accoring to documentation

Dear all,
I am looking for the equations correlated to the SST model in the CFX 15.0 manual (the theory guide) but am afraid I am really confused about it all.

For the k-epsilon and k-omega I have found the actual equations in 2.2.2.1 2.2.2.4.1. respectively but under the section '2.2.2.6 The shear stress transport (SST)' there is simply no such equations.

There is however talk about the blending factor in 2.2.2.6.1. that I assume should be applied in the equations 2-48,49 (found in 2.2.2.5) which is the k-omega BSL model.

So, it is possibly so that the SST model is more or less the BSL model (Eq. 2-48,49) but with the eddy-viscosity limiter from 2.60? And that both the SST and BSL model shares the calculations of the blending factor F1?

Thanks in advance

Hilde

You are on the right track.

SST differences respect to the BSL model also include turbulence production limiter, and else..

Thank you very much for the answer Opaque :)

The documentation do describe a turbulence production limiter (2.2.2.7) and a curvature correction for the two-equation models (2.2.2..8), but as I understand it are these optional to use, and available in both the SST and the BSL model?

So, do you or anyone know if there is some other default difference between the SST and the BSL than the eddy-viscosity limiter? A difference that is not mentioned in the documentation or that I did not catch once reading it?

Thanks again
