[Q] Design Explorer setting a certain range of outlet flow

I want to make a routine for uniform outlet flow by using Design Explorer. The problem is that the ambiguity of 'uniform'. Is it possible to set less then equal to 5 % uniformity of outlet a certain geometry? Is there any tutorial of this kind of problem?

If you want uniform outlet flow then just use a velocity outlet and it will be uniform by definition. But I suspect this is not what you are asking - if so, then you better explain your question better.

I am sorry, Glenn Horrocks. The problem is that a complex inner geometry makes uneven outlet flow at outlet section. I can move them or change a certain amount of angles to satisfy the even outlet flow compare to first design. There are many possibilities to change the inner geometry as you know. But I think it can be possible to make 5% or 10% uniformity of outlet flow by using Design Explorer. For this, we have to evaluate average and standard deviation of outlet flow. If I can put some loop to satisfy the condition then I don't have to calculate many cases for getting the even outlet flow. Could you tell me how to do it? Static Mixer and Design Explorer tutorial is not appropriate for my problem.

Are you saying that your purpose is to make the outlet flow more even? So you can adjust the geometry and flow parameters with the intention of making the outlet flow more even?

You could calculate unevenness a few ways:
* maxValue()-minValue()
* standard deviations

Thank you very much Glenn. I know evaluate unevenness but I don't know how to set the routine in Design Explorer. If the maxValue()-minValue()>a certain value then the geoetry will change and recalculation until the deviation<5%. I think it can be possible to set it in workbench.
