hydraulic jump ... multiphase flow cfx

hi. im trying to simulate a hydraulic jump in cfx for my master thesis. water come out 5 parallel offset jets and fill the stilling basin and after fill that submerged jump will occur. i know this is a transient case and multiphase flow. and needs to write some expressions for time steps. but i dont know about homogeneous in fluid model and about air and water on continuous fluid and dispersed fluid or other kind of morphology...should i change them and how should i change that? and anythings that i need to know about this case? here is a picture of what i want to simulate.

tnx to help me
sincerely

Your starting point should be the tutorial examples which come with CFX. The free surface flow over a bump is a good example.

ok. tnx. i have practiced 2 tutorials example at cfx tutorials ... the tank flush and the multiphase water and air in channel...both of them have expressions and transient. ok i'll do the flow over a bump too

very interested work, But do you believe that your case solved by VOF, I think you should apply mixing, because it has very high Reynolds NO. , or tested what is the maximum Reynolds No. that can be solved by VOF.
