Hi All,

I am trying to use MUSIG model to simulate air-water bubbly flow. CFX is only featured with "Prince and Blanch" model for the calculation of coalescence rate. But it is not applicable in my case.

I have to write either a CEL or a fortran routine for the suitable model. However, when I calculate the equivalent radius resulted from the colliding of two bubbles,

rij=1/2*(1/ri+1/rj)^-1; ri and rj are discrete radius of two colliding bubbles.

I didn't know how to define ri and rj in CEL or fortran.

Water is continuous phase and air is polydispersed phase. I've got stuck in this problem for several weeks, but still no progress. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Any help or information is highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Opaque will become famous soon enough
You should look into the variables named

Group I Diameter
Group J Diameter

and how they are prefixed to indicated which group they are associated to.

Hey Andy. I am also trying to figure out a solution to a similar problem. I am trying to call some variables like Group1 diameter, mass etc into a CEL routine/Fortran subroutine but I keep getting errors. Can you help me out here?
