Multiphase materials creation/import

Hello cfdists,

I have a question regarding materials for multiphase simulation in cfx...specifically with iapws if97 steam data...

In some workshops from ansys staff I've seen that they import ccl materials for water data from iapws ccl file i.e. Steam1 steam2 and so on...when imported, they appear in the material tree in cfx pre...

Now, there is another option, which I tried but I don't know if it is correct, which is creating a new material/pure substance/iapws if97, one for liquid and one for vapor...the same table range for both of them...then I create either a HBM or I use them as separated fluids...

Is this apporach ok? What can you tell me about it...

I've been having issues with pressure ranges going out if physical bounds and maybe my material selection procedure is not correct, so I wanted to ask this on forum...by the liquid and vapor data is being used for evaporation condensation process in a heat pipe...

Thanks in advance...
