High Speed Compressible Flow through a valve

1. If P-Mass imbalance varies between 1% can I conclude that the solution is converged.
2. One of momentum linear solution got small ok...what should I do to avoid it? 3. I created a plane in the upstream and downstream of valve and measured the area avg of Total pressure and static pressure using function calculator....value of Total pressure is less than static pressure...how is it possible?...what can be the possible error. |

1: Maybe, maybe not. It depends on the simulation, there is no general rule. (If it was a general rule, wouldn't it be the default convergence criteria?)
2: This is unlikely to be a problem. As long as the linear solver converges and your residuals are going down you are likely to be OK. 3: I cannot explain this. |
