If Ansys Multifeild solves for both CFX and ANSYS, why don't I get ANSYS solution at the end?
Updating it doesn't give results as a new solution is done without FSI. Please help |

Steps to follow:
1) Clear generated data for CFX and for Mechanical 2) Rx on Mechanical Setup and Update 3) Rx on CFX Setup and Update 3) Run the CFX Solution. Along with the CFX solver files there should be an ANSYS Mechanical txt file (it is in another table) 4) Once completed, the you can view both CFX and Mechanical Results in CFD Post. Thus, your results will be displayed in CFD Post (not in the Mechanical Block) |

Thanks highorder_cfd. But what if I want to get results in mechanical which allows to obtain various kind of result evaluations? For example as it is available in System coupling (Fluent-ANSYS).
Basically, I want to access the 'mechanical solution file' and see if it can be imported and studied in Mechanical? Can I do this for the txt file you mentioned? Thanks! |

In Mechanical use "Tools > Read Result Files" and load in the ANSYS.rst file
