Hi,
I am struggling to find out how to asses the boundary layer quality from the Y+ distribution. If anyone knows how to asses the quality please i help me with this Thank you, Hseya |

Could you describe your problem wider? You want to see Y+ parameter on the monitor in CFX-Solver or i CFD Post? Anyway, it is a simple formulation:
areaAve(Yplus)@Locator. Done |

You cannot assess the boundary layer quality simply from the y+ distribution. It is more complex than that.
But at the end of the day, you need to do a mesh sensitivity study and this will determine if your mesh (and therefore your y+) is adequate for your application. |
