Dear all I have two questions:
1- I use CFX I want to use (RNG) model but I do not find it, fluent has this model but in cfx I can not find it. 2- from the upstream of my model (flow over spillway) I know height of water but I dont know velocity of inlet, what I should do?. thanks |

if you know the inlet and outlet pressure of your case you can solve it, you don't necessarily need to have the inlet velocity.

RNG - you might need the advanced turbulence license to access this. Do you have an advanced turbulence license option (or a full capability solver license)?
If you know the water height but not the flow then use a pressure boundary condition. Have a look at the CFX tutorials for how to implement pressure boundaries in free surface models. |
