how to save the variable values at some points every time step

could you please tell me how to save the variable values at some points or lines every time steps. since the mesh size is very large. Regards |

in CFX-Pre create a Monitor Point with the desired expression or variable (pressure etc). In the solver manager, you can add a new monitor with that new monitor point. You can export the data for every time step from the solver manager as CSV-file.

Appart from the monitor points you can also extract these values from a transient run in cfx post by using perl scripts

This I don't know.
But when you reach the end of your simulation, you have the whole progress of your monitored value, and you can export the whole curve / data set to the csv file. You don't need to do the export for each time step... |
