Hii,

I am simulating flow simulation through blade (single passage) using time transformation. I have finished steady state simulation and also did one only transient simulation with using time transformation.

but with time transformation I am getting following error: could you please help me to understand

Details of error:-
----------------
Error detected by routine PEEKCA
CDANAM = /FLOW/PHYSICS/ZIF2 /TINC/CSTATZN
CRESLT = NONE

Current Directory : /ABR/ALGORITHM

+--------------------------------------------------------------------+
| ERROR #001100279 has occurred in subroutine ErrAction.
| Message:
| Stopped in routine MEMERR

Opaque will become famous soon enough
Hopefully, Glenn can move your question to a new thread titled: " Case fails when using Time Transformation model"

The current failure has not connection to the older thread.

Done. In future please start a new thread for a new question. Also - please do not PM me with duplicates of posts on the forum. I don't like that much either.

Please attach the output file to put this error message in context.

It is failing with a memory error in the partitioning step. So if the default partitioner (metis) fails then try another one. Recursive bisection is a good low memory one which gives reasonable results for most cases.

Mr. Glenn thanks for reply, I tried with MeTIs type Recursive Bisection but it still fails. I also tried instead of MeTIs recursive coord Bisection but no change in the error in all cases.

I also tried by changing the memory allocaiton factor but still no change. could you please give some other solution if you are aware of

Thanks a lot

As I said it is failing with a memory error in the partitioning step. So you are going to have to try different partitioning memory options. Try all the different partitioning algorithms and memory options. Also try just writing a partitioning file with no solver.

If these do not work then there is a more fundamental problem with your simulation. Some is causing the memory allocation to go haywire - check your setup.

Hello everyone!

This one seems to be a bug of CFX 15 version.
I`ve encountered the same error using Time Transformation in CFX 15. Running task with various partitioning algorithms and memory allocation factors on different servers (with a lot of free memory) results in the same error.

What is really interesting is that when I tried to run the same task in 14.5, 16.2 and 17.2 versions it started perfectly. Even with older 14.5 version. That`s why I suspect this is a bug.

sagarparikh31 try to run your task in some different CFX version. Maybe this helps.
