New variable in CFXpost for unsteady analisys
 

Hi all! I'm Matteo and I'm a Phd Student. It's my first post, so sorry if i don't do everything following rules..

I have 24 trn files from an unsteady simulation of radial turbine (complete model: volute, nozzle, wheel and diffuser). I want to investigate the total pressure variation in the volute, so I imagine, firstly i have to make a time average over all my trn files, so from a Ptot(x,y,z,t) to a Ptot(x,y,z); secondly i have to define a new variable in cfx post (ex: PtotAvarage) and plot contour, or everything usefull to my investigation, of total pressure fluctuation define as Ptot-PtotAvarage.

To obtain a PtotAvarege I will made a perl script to export, from each trn file, the total pressure value of each mesh cell and after sum and divide for 24. My question is: how I can import a csv file (4 columns: x,y,z,Variable) and 'inform' cfx post that should be a new variable in the volume?
