CFX queries
 

Hi all,

Im trying to use CFX to do a transient simulation. i have a room with inlets that is inducing pure CO2 into the room. i would love to find out the mass fraction of the CO2 at the end of my simulation. Can anyone enlighten me with some steps? i couldnt get the mass fraction options at the results. Please help Thank you.

Have you looked at the tutorial examples? There are examples of flows similar to this.

The variable name will be something like: "CO2.Mass Fraction" or whatever you named your CO2 fluid: "FluidName.Mass Fraction"

hi all, i believe i am supposed to insert expression in order to obtain the CO2 concentrations for transient analysis. any one knows where can i find the expressions to key in?

Erik's post gives the variable name. You might need to do a expression like volumeAve(CO2.Mass Fraction)@Domain or something like that to get the overall amount, however.
