Hello All,
I am running case in which I am using a Metastable thermodynamic property table to enable the fluid to go past the fluid's saturation line. I want to now define an isosurface or some kind of function in order to determine which areas within the CFD domain are going past this line. Does anyone know of a way to use a table of values (such as the saturation line in this case) to set a criteria that highlights any cells that are below the saturation temperature for a certain Pressure? I know that isosurfaces are very useful to find one value of one variable but I am unsure if it is possible to have two variables as the criteria and instead of one value of the variable, set criteria to highlight anything below one value? Thanks!! Lauren |

When you go to "Insert->Location->Volume" in CFX-Post and then select "Isovolume", you can define, that cells above, below or between specified values are drawn.
But you will only be able to this for 1 Variable. If you need 2 Variables maybe you will have to look for 2 Isolvolumes, define a spcific color for each of them and set a transparency, so that you would see cells with overlap of both values.... Or you can define that all cells for a certain temperature window are shown by the isolvolume and the color of the cells/isovolume will be selected due to the coloring variable pressure...instead of giving a fixe colour to the isovolume. in that way you could somehow print 2 variables with one type of visualisation |
