Hello,
I am learning ANSYS CFX for my master thesis. I will be doing wake effect analysis of the wind turbines by using actuator disc model. Since I am kind of new in CFD and in ANSYS CFX do you have any tutorial (apart from the tutorials in the user guide) that you can offer related with actuator disc model which explains step by step how to do it? Thanks a lot in advance. |

I assume you mean you are going to use momentum source terms to model the effect of wind turbines on the prevailing wind.
I do not know of any tutorials specifically on this. If you ask ANSYS support they may have something close. Otherwise do the tutorials provided with CFX and the ones on the ANSYS customer webpage and that will give you a good start. |
