How to get two Transient Statistics (Start/Stop Iteration is different) ?
 
Hi everyone,

I defined two kinds of Transient Statistics in CFX-Pre, their Start/Stop Iterations are different. But when I opened the *.res file, I found that there is only one kind of variable.Trnavg. And I don't know the variable.Trnavg in result file is Transient Statistics 1 or Transient Statistics 2.

Who can tell me what's wrong with the settings?

I would assume it depends on which time step you loaded. So between 2793 and 3200, you have statistics 1.
I don't know what happens for the other time steps, though.
Why do you even have two statistics defined for the same variables?

Firstly, thanks for your answer. In your opinion, when after step 3200, I get statistics 2, and statistics 1 is covered? I want to compare statistics 1 with statistics 2 , so I can find the influence of the time steps.

I haven't really worked with those statistics yet but I have the feeling that you are on the wrong path here. I don't think this is the way to go for comparing the influence of time steps. In my understanding, physical values like velocity or y+ should be independent from your time steps. I might be wrong here - it was a long day ;) But maybe someone else can help out here...
