Hi,
I am completely confused here in using 'Mesh Deformation' option in CFX. I have a airfoil oscillating in a domain and i am specifying a periodic motion to it. There is 'Mesh Deformation option in Basic Settings. There are two option: 'None' and 'Region of Motion specified'. I am sure what should i use for my case. In both cases, when airfoil oscillates mesh seems to move it but in 'Region of motion specified' option, it gets deformed but in 'None' option, it remains intact. I am not able to decide the effect of each of them. Please suggest some idea. |

Have you looked at the moving mesh tutorial problems which come with CFX? This shows how to set these simulations up.
