flow rate at outlet

hello every one
I simulated free surface flow in hydraulic structure after simulation in CFX post I want to know my simulation was reached to steady state, so I need to compute discharge (flow rate) at outlet in order to compared with inlet, how can do this?
thanks

create an expression with a ratio between those two, set as monitor variable and check that during the run.
I think you can also work that into a stop criteria if you want.

thanks for you reply, setting a monitor variable before run?, what does that mean stop criteria? how to create ...... thanks

yes.
Please read the documentation. It is clearly describing how to introduce a new expression/variable as a new monitor for solver manager.

You could also set a conservation target (usually to 1%). Through a quick google search I found this for you. Those slides talk about conservation target and stopping criteria ('interrupt control').
