in cfx pre, i create session file with start & stop recording, based on manual of cfx, in cfx launcher--> cfx pre--> session tab, i playing my session file but It does not work, I do not know where is the problem.

Dont give any error and only is loaded.

For debugging, I would start with creating a session file with for example one command. If that works, add another command. Continue like this until you have your full session file. Either it works or at some point it will fail. But then at least you know where the 'error' started to appear.

as your mentioned, i creating a session file with simple commands like an easy expression and then play session file in cfx launcher, unfortunately Do not give any error and only is loaded.
i really dont know what happened?
I think maybe I'm wrong in creating session file or playing it, if your possible, please check my procedure in the following.
in cfx pre->i do define new session->start->stop
in cfx launcher->cfx pre->i do playing session file.

just open the session file with a text editor (Notepad++ for example) and check if the commands are recorded correctly.

In Pre you can also work with ccl-files. Save the state of your settings in pre (ccl file is created) and then load that file in your other project. The documentation gives you more details

as your mentined, we can saved settings to ccl format,Thanks for the pointed out, but session files are perfect compared to ccl files, i attached one case of simple command here with txt format, if your possible, please check it.

At first glance, the session file looks okay. But since I always use ccl files in Pre, I cannot really check your file. I would recommend using a ccl file in Pre. I don't see why a session file would be better here. Especially since you run into problems.

Do you really record EVERYTHING in Pre? Did you load the same model etc before you started recording/playing the session? Do you load Pre through the CFX launcher and play the session without loading your model first?

According to the help, a session file in Pre is limited to the following actions:

Chapter 5: CFX-Pre Session Menu




A session file is a record of the actions performed during a CFX-Pre session, saved in a file as commands. The actions that cause commands to be written to a session file include:

• Viewer manipulation performed using the commands available by right-clicking in the viewer window.
• All actions available from the File and Edit menus.
• Creation of expressions.
• Creation of new objects and changes to an object committed by clicking OK or Apply on any of the panels available from the Tools and Insert menus/toolbars.
• Commands issued in the Command Editor dialog box.
• Mesh import, delete, and transformation operations.

I am also the first time that I wanted to use this file(session file), My model is executed And now I want a session file from it for future, I've tried all states, but unfortunately dont result, i loaded my session file in launcher and tried it with both states (loading of my first model in workbench and not loading).
dear maxim, as i know, The difference between the two is that:
ccl only save simple settings in cfx pre, but it is not able Some activities like transforming and copying meshes in CFX-pre.

Okay, I see. Then my approach would be to start with a very small session file (just a few commands), test that file and then add some more commands. After a while, you will know which command doesn't work.
My session files in Post usually worked fine. I haven't used a session file to transform my mesh, though. So my guess is that something goes wrong there.

in finally, i dont understand, What is the problem.
based on your orders, i generated session files for cfx post, but while i opening it with launcher, Gives the following error:
must specify an object to show or hide, What is the reason for the error?
