good evening
i want to simulate the change of phase of R12 flow inside frictional adiabatic pipe . the phase change occurs due to two reason the first reason is when heat flux applied to the tube and the second is when the pressure drop due to friction
can any one helps me in this simulation using CFX ?

I have no expertise in your exact simulation, but I can say:

* Your model is complex, involving compressible flow, phase change and complex material property models. You should expect that this is going to be a difficult model to get working. It is not for beginners.

* I am not sure the nucleation model in CFX will be suitable for this type of flow - I will leave it up to you to investigate this and confirm or deny.

* You need to build complex models piece by piece. First model a simple compressible gas in your geometry. Do you get the flow accelerating due to friction as we expect for a compressible flow? Then do a simple thermally driven phase change model for water, and when that works try R12. And only once all that is working should you try all the models together.
