Hello guys, please give me the definitions of pressure, total pressure, absolute pressure, and dynamic pressure, and where can I find the static pressure in cfx-post, I find different forums about this, but everywhere there were written very lightly and different, so I want certain definition, thank you.

this might also be helpful regarding stn. frame and rel. frame:
http://www.cfd-online.com/Forums/cfx...el-frames.html

pressure = "static" pressure - reference pressure

absolute pressure = pressure + reference pressure

total pressure = pressure + dynamic pressure

Hope I didn't confuse myself by writing that up

Hydrostatic pressure is the static pressure plus the pressure resulting from the weight of fluid above it.
