Hi, everyone

I use CFX-POST of ANSYS 15.0 to process my trn results. When I treat with the rotational domain, I set up a "Clip Plane"(YZ Plane), and need to "Apply Rotation" in the Contour View's setting (shown as the pic). The contour is shown correctly in the window, but when I right click and "Save Picture" in my computer, the bug occurs: the picture saved is not the same as it is shown in CFX-POST! It looks like that the Clip Plane is also rotated.

Who can tell me where the wrong is ?
Thx a lot!

Try the "use screen capture" option.

Thanks for your answer.
I found the statements in CFX help, "When a clip plane is coincident with regions, boundaries, or interfaces that are planes, the results of a Save Picture command may not match what you see in the 3D Viewer (depending on the orientation of the case). In this situation, set the Use Screen Capture check box. " So, that's why that bug occurs.

When you use the screen capture option it just captures the screen - obviously.

But when the option is not selected it runs the geometry through a renderer to regenerate the image. This allows the image to be a higher resolution than the screen if required. But I have never understood why when the image goes through this alternate rendering pathway it sometimes looks quite different and some objects come out completely wrong. I just know that it happens frequently.
