Hello,
Is there any difference between imbalance and residual, if yes what it is. |

First of all: Pleas do not hijack other threads. For a new question start a new thread. I have moved this post to a new thread.
Your question is answered in the CFX documentation. So that is the place to start learning about these things. But in short: residuals is a representation of the error of the solution at each node. Imbalance is how the total inputs and outputs integrate over the entire domain balance up, as they should sum to zero in a converged solution. |
