Hello!
I try to simulate 7-staged axial compressor and faced such misunderstanding: relative total pressure averaged on one face is lower than static one. Here is an example from CFX-POST: Mass Flow Average of Pressure on S1 R2 Side 2 124181 [Pa] Mass Flow Average of Total Pressure on S1 R2 Side 2 118307 [Pa] Mass Flow Average of Total Pressure in Stn Frame on S1 R2 Side 2 146452 [Pa] Why does it happen? Any calculation details? |
